Path of Titans has established itself as a premier multiplayer dinosaur survival game on console platforms, offering PlayStation 5 players a deep prehistoric experience. Understanding the pricing structure and available game packages is essential before purchasing on the PlayStation Store. This guide breaks down the costs, available Founder's packs, and digital currency features for prospective players.
Standard Founder's Edition Overview
The Standard Founder's Pack serves as the entry point for players looking to explore the full game experience on PS5. Typically priced around $30 USD on the PlayStation Store, this tier grants complete access to base dinosaur species and community servers. Players also receive 2,000 Path of Titans Coins to spend on in-game cosmetics or extra unlockables.
For players who prefer flexibility, lower-cost starter options like individual dinosaur species packs are also integrated into the store system. These smaller entry points allow gamers to test the core mechanics without committing to the complete base pack. Upgrades remain available later if you decide to unlock the remaining creature roster.
Deluxe Founder's Edition Features
The Deluxe Founder's Edition is designed for players seeking additional cosmetic variety from the start. Priced higher than the standard edition, usually around $60 USD, it expands your cosmetic budget significantly. This bundle includes 5,000 Path of Titans Coins along with exclusive backer skins for your dinosaurs.
While the extra backer skins add visual flair across various species, they do not offer gameplay advantages. Players interested in unique aesthetics will find value in the Deluxe package, while casual gamers can comfortably opt for the basic edition. Both versions grant equal access to cross-play features and user-created community content.
In-Game Currency and Cross-Platform Value
Path of Titans utilizes a unified virtual currency known as Path of Titans Coins for managing microtransactions. These coins allow developers to track cosmetic purchases seamlessly across supported devices. If you register an Alderon Games account, your purchases on PS5 can sync to PC or mobile platforms at no additional charge.
Extra coin bundles are available on the PlayStation Store starting from $6.99 for 350 coins up to larger currency packs for dedicated players. This flexible economy lets you personalize your prehistoric creatures over time while keeping core gameplay features accessible. Evaluating your budget and preferred playstyle will help you choose the best edition for your journey.
